Goldy almost lost breath but fought viciously just to keep his consciousness

He started breathing heavily and slowly opened his eyes, Nina’s face is the first thing he saw and the closeness of their faces is making his brain get that spark again, her face appeared in his head and he got that pounding headache again

He held his head once again and his eyes went shut

“My head” he winced and tears escaped his eyes voluntarily

” What’s happening? ” He wondered when he’s finally calming down bit by bit

He pushed Nina off himself and slowly stood

“What’s happening to me?, Why do I always get this memory spark whenever she’s around? ‘ he said silently, glancing at her unconscious body on the ground

He made to go but after taking few steps, he came back..

“She’s so lightweighted, doesn’t she eat?” He wondered during the walk to the school clinic with Nina in his arms, it’s still open in case of night emergency

“What’s wrong with her?” A doctor asked immediately Nina was taken from him and rushed in on a stretcher

“She suddenly fell and passed out, I have no idea” he replied and left.

A week later**

Despite the fact that Goldy was the one who carried her to the hospital, he never for once went to see her

The guys persuaded him a lot but he just won’t bother

And the only thing Nina has been saying is his name, it has been hellish for her in the past one week but thankfully she’s managing her condition though it’s hard , now she knows how much lovesickness can affect

Tiffany will always come to check on her on her way back from school, she has never missed a day

“I just want to see him, that’s all I want, if he tells me he loves me, I’ll be fine” Nina said sadly for the millionth time

Tiffany held her hand and looked at her with much pity

“Nina you know that’s not possible right now, your gold is still lost, he’s oblivious of what he’s doing, he’s still not in his right senses but I think this is coming to an end soon ok? ” She said, trying to pour hope in her hopeless heart

Nina lost a lot of weight, and for the fact that she has a natural slim stature, it’s glaring that she lost much weight within the one week

“I’m dying and I mean it, had it been we weren’t in a relationship before this happened, I wouldn’t have been affected like this, but for the fact that he’s my boyfriend, a guy who always soothes and comfort me, a guy who’ll not be happy if I’m not happy, my Gold will never bear to see me sad, he’ll just have a way to put a smile on my face, but now it’s the other way round, I’m really devastated and heartbroken, I’ve never been in love before, this is my first and I never expected it to be like this” she cried

Cindy is trying hard not to cry, Lucy is crying secretly while Tiffany is sniffing occasionally, a sign that she’s crying secretly too

The boys are all having pitiful looks on their faces

“I’m assuring you that Goldy will come back to his senses soon, trust me” Cindy said, standing up

” What do you plan to do? ” Rex asked

“Just don’t worry, Tiffany please you have to stay with Nina for us” Cindy said

” Sure, but what do you plan to do” Tiffany asked

“just trust me, guys let’s go” Cindy said, leading the way out of the ward

” Nina’s condition is critical in the clinic, I visited her two times and her condition is just not improving, she leaned a lot and she’s just pitiful, I felt like crying” Mary said to Daniel, they’re actually in his office

” I know right, I always visit her, seems their love is one of a kind but the challenge in their lovestory is bad, I mean… Goldy’s memory loss is taking too long, I thought it’ll be a matter of three days” Daniel replied

” Me too, but surprisingly this is the second week now, that shameless mother of Nina is just the cause of everything, her video with Chen is out, I overheard some guys at the grocery store yesterday, talking about how hot it was” she replied

” It’s a pity that she has to be the daughter of a slut” Daniel said, hugging Mary’s shoulders in his standing position

*I’m sad” Mary said

” Me too, but let’s just continue to hope for the best” Daniel replied, resting his head on her shoulder

She brushed his hair with her hand and closed her eyes, feeling better

“What are you doing here?” Minaj asked immediately Goldy showed up to see her at Mimi’s Restaurant

“Are you avoiding me now?, Did you relocate from your house cos of me? ” Goldy asked

” Yes I did, Goldy stop following me around” she replied seriously

“But you said you like me” he replied

” That was when I wasn’t thinking straight, I wasn’t in my right senses then cos it was all obsession, I was obsessed with your handsome face but now the obsession has cleared off my face so leave” she said

” Did anyone come to threaten you? ” He asked

” No one came to threaten me but someone came to talk some sense into my skull” she replied

He tried to hold her but she stepped back

“Goldy leave, I was just lost back then, take it as I don’t know what I was doing, I’m just a poor orphan, if I have raised your hopes I’m so sorry, never come back here again and never stalk or follow me around, go back to Nina, she’s your girlfriend, she’s the one you love, and if possible, regain your memory as fast as possible” she said and rushed into the shop

Goldy left the shop with sadness

Another person who’s telling him to go back to his girlfriend… Nina

Her face appeared in his memory again and he had to close his eyes throughout the drive back to school

He never bothered sneaking back in , he took the gate, taking the securities by surprise

“When did you leave the school compound?” They questioned

” No one’s business” he replied curtly, then he saw Cindy and the rest of them from afar

“There he is” Cindy said, advancing towards him with the others

She got to him and gave him angry looks

“What?” He asked

“Even if your head forgets your Nina, should your heart also forget her?, Huh?, Even if your freaking memory sieve out all about her, should your mind forget her too?, Goldy she’s your one and only girl! ” Cindy yelled at his face

” Do you know you never slept a wink on the night she left our house sadly cos mum didn’t like her at first?, We told you to go have fun with us but you said you can’t be having fun when your girlfriend is sulking like a baby” Lucy said

” Stop” Goldy said as the memories came back in confusing shatters, he bent down slowly and held his head with both hands

“Don’t tell us to stop!, Do you know how happy you were when you found out that she lives in the same street with us?” Cindy said loudly

The securities watched the tough drama with interest

Goldy kept squatting, burying his face in the ground

“I said stop, my head hurts” he winced

“You’ll always tell us how much you love her in the hostel” Rex said

” You even composed countless poems for her” Clinton said

” Goldy you tutor her everyday in the ICT center, you sleep there with her” Nelson said

” You guys kissed on that fateful night during the game at booze clubhouse, Goldy please just remember already!” Erica screamed

Tears rushed out of Goldy’s eyes in his squatting place

“I told you guys to stop!” He yelled

“Goldy, you once told me you can’t live without her” Cindy said

Goldy stood swiftly and rushed to Cindy

“Bitch!, I told you to stop talking!” He ranted

His head is ringing with scattered memories he can’t put together, like a puzzle

“Did you just call me a bitch?” Cindy said, anger getting the best of her

” Yes, stop talking* Goldy replied

” Then I guess you want it the hard way, I hate what I don’t like” Cindy said before raising her hand in one swift move to Goldy’s face, she slapped hard him across the face

Goldy held the face and his eyes almost popped out of his sockets as the puzzled memories started coming together in his brain .. he stood in that position for over three minutes, still holding his cheek and as if in a slow mo, He slowly looked at Cindy closely

“Cindy” he said as tears swelled in his eyes

“You just called my name” Cindy replied surprisingly

He looked around and saw the guys

“Rex, Clinton , Nels.. Erica, Lucy” he called one by one

” Are you back?” Rex asked

” I remember every single thing now” he said slowly, letting the tears fall down his handsome face…
