Nina spent up to twenty minutes in the room, crying profusely with no one to console her

Maybe even consolation won’t help matters right now cos it hurts to the bone

She feels shattered and broken, the guy who can’t do without her, the guy who won’t stop kissing her at every chance he gets, the guy whose touch she enjoys most in the world is now saying he hates her

“What should I do?, Just what can my helpless self do?” She soliloquized silently

“I heard she’s your girlfriend” Minaj said when she got to the school field with Goldy

“Girlfriend?, Even you?, Why is everyone saying that shit” Goldy replied

“Oh I’m sorry if I annoyed you with that, just that,…

He shut her up by placing his pointer finger on her lips

“Let’s not talk about it anymore, I’ll come see you at home anytime” he said

” Really?, You’ll come to my house?” She asked happily

” I’m not free to come?” He asked

” No, not that, I’m just happy that you’ll be coming”

” Oh, I need to get another phone and insert my sim, so I’ll give you my number” he said

She gave her her phone and he typed his number before giving it back

“See ya” he said and walked away

“He’s so cute!” Minaj gushed and made to save the number but someone suddenly took the phone from her

She was taken aback but when she saw who it was, she calmed down

“I never knew you’re as bad as this” Cindy said hatefully

” Give back my phone” Minaj replied

Cindy passed the phone to Lucy who deleted Goldy’s number

“Here, have your filthy phone” Lucy said and Minaj took it

“Deleted, didn’t we tell you he has a girlfriend?, Why are you taking advantage of his situation, it’s called cheapness for crying out loud, cheapness” Erica replied

” He told me she’s not his girlfriend” Minaj replied boldly

” You really have some guts but too bad you don’t have a brain… Don’t you know the meaning of amnesia?, Well to help your shallow thinking faculty, it means memory loss, he even forgot us as his sisters and his friends” Lucy said

Minaj went quiet as Cindy stepped forward

“Look I hate what I don’t like, that’s why I always try my best to make my warnings loud and clear, stay away from my brother or else, I’ll beat you blue black I swear” Cindy said and that moment, a glint of fear flashed past Minaj’s eyes

“You’re looking at the female John Cena so if you don’t want to get wounded, stay back” Lucy added

” We don’t give warnings, you’re just so lucky cos right now you should be in the pool of your blood, but I hope you’ll take this warning seriously for your own good” Erica said and they left her immediately to go in search of Nina

She was just coming out of the room when they saw her

“Nina!” Erica rushed to her with the rest

A look at her, no one will need to tell you she has almost cried out her eyes

“Nina you don’t need all these” Lucy said, looking at her with pity

“I wouldn’t have cried, I was trying to keep it all in but it all got bursted when I saw him kissing and caressing Minaj in here” Nina replied

” What!, He kissed her ? ” Erica said

” I swear it, it was heartbreaking” Nina cried

“I swear if I knew this happened, I would have taught Minaj some lessons before letting her go, but there’s still time, there’s still time to deal with that idiot” Cindy said as they took her out of the place..

Nina became sick with headache that night and had a high temperature throughout, she never slept, only hot tears escaped her eyes till the next morning

She took her bath and did make up to cover up her swollen face before the others woke up

“Good to see you look good this morning” Erica yawned softly

“I know right? ” She replied, feeling pounding headache but keeping it all in

“I love you, don’t forget that” Cindy said with smiles

“Much love” Lucy added

*Same here guys” she replied as radiantly as she can manage to

Tiffany stormed into the restaurant in fury, she actually came there Straight from school cos she’s still in her school uniform

“Tiffy” Minaj smiled immediately she saw her

Tiffany got to her and grabbed her hair straight

“Ouch!, Tiffany what’s wrong!”

“Everything is wrong snatcher, everything, I thought you were decent but you turned out to be worse, I think I told you Goldy has a girlfriend, his girlfriend is my best friend but yet, you went after him and even went as far as kissing him…Minaj don’t you have shame?” She ranted, pulling more of her hair

Madam Mimi came out of the kitchen and it was her who succeeded in taking Minaj from her

“What happened between you two?, The last time I checked, you guys were friends” she said, looking from one to another

“We were once friends, and that was when I thought she was a saint but it turned out she isn’t, she’s trying to snatch my friend’s guy, madam Mimi please tell this girl to back off, else I know what I can do” she said and went out of the shop as fast as she came in

Madam Mimi faced Minaj who kept her face down

“What’s all this Minaj?”

“I’m sorry ma’am” she replied slowly

“Trying to snatch another girl’s boyfriend?, Oh that’s so bad, Minaj that’s called shamelessness”

” I’m so sorry” Minaj replied again

” I’m disappointed, I wasn’t expecting this from you” madam Mimi said and stormed past her into the kitchen

Hospital**

“Was she the cause of his accident?” The doctor in charge of Goldy’s surgery the other time asked, looking at the three girls questioningly

Erica, Lucy and Cindy actually went to ask maybe there’s a reason for Goldy’s excessive hatred towards Nina

“Why did you ask?” Cindy asked

“If she’s the cause of his accident, then his psychological memory might keep a record of that and cause him to hate her to the core, I’m sure you understand the point I’m trying to make” the doctor said

” Now I understand” Lucy inhaled

“But when is his memory coming back?” Erica asked

” It’ll come back once something triggers it” he replied

” When something triggers it, ok doc, thanks for your time” Cindy said, leading the way out of his office

“What do we do?” Erica asked

“He said it’ll come once something triggers it, let’s just continue to try” Lucy replied

“someone’s Gold” Rex said knowingly during dinner

” Don’t call me that” Goldy replied sharply

He’s idling with his new phone, he actually just got it with the help of the securities

“Nelson, do you still remember the game?” Clinton suddenly asked

” Yeah, we were paired with each other and Goldy was paired with Nina” Rex replied and Goldy looked up

” I can still remember they got lost in the forest…

Goldy held his head tight as the glint of memory flashed through his brain

Clinton winked for Nelson to continue

“Yeah, Nina passed out in the forest and they were almost eaten by a boar, thanks to the searches who found them and…

“Stop!!!” Goldy yelled, still holding his head, sweating profusely

“Are you ok?” Rex asked as they all stood

“Don’t come near, no one should come near” he replied like a warning before rushing out of the hostel

“What was that?” Clinton said

“It’s obvious the memories are coming back in shatters so he’ll still be confused” Nelson replied

” I guess we should do this often” Rex said…

Goldy sat on the base of the stairs below the junior block with his head on his palms but he suddenly raised up his head

“What was that?, I saw her face, her face appeared in my memory sharply” he wondered aloud

He raked his hand in his hair and closed his eyes

“Why will her face appear in my memory?*

Nina felt so weak, too weak to even walk as a result of depression

She sat on the chair beside the lawn that separated girls hostel from boys hostel, crying again

Maybe she really can’t stop being a crybaby but when she sensed someone coming behind her, she quickly wiped her tears

Cindy came with Erica and Lucy

“Babe we’ve been looking for you” Cindy bent in front of her

She managed to fake a smile

“I’m just resting here” she replied

*Then you should have told us, ok let’s stay with…

” No guys, I’m fine as you can see, I just want to be alone, please guys” she said pleadingly

” Are you sure you’ll be fine?” Lucy asked and she nodded in reply

” Ok dear, we’ll be expecting you” Cindy said and winked playfully before leaving with the girls

Nina placed her legs on the chair too and balanced her chin on her knees

“I feel lonely without him” she thought.

Goldy just finished speaking with Tessy and it seems she’s the only person he feels comfortable with, like he has known her for long

He told the cab man to stop when he got to Minaj’s house

He stepped out of the cab and payed the cab driver before going closer to the house, he met a woman outside

“Hi madam, I ask of Minaj” he said

“She relocated just today, in fact she left some minutes ago” the woman said

” Shit!, And she can’t even call” he ranted frustratedly

Right now he feels like kissing her already and doing all sort of things to her but now it’s Impossible

He boarded a cab that took him back to school that night, he sneaked back in through the usual route and checked the time, it’s 7pm exactly, lights go out by 7:30

He walked grudgingly towards the boys hostel, thinking of how to reach Minaj again when he saw a figure sitting on the bench at the lawn .

He went closer and the person actually buried her face on her laps and even in that position, anyone will know the person is not ok cos she’s shaking visibly

“Who’s this?* He asked, getting curious

Nina slowly looked up, her face is soaked with tears already and too red like a drunkard’s, she’s shaking like a person who walked miles under the rain .

“Go…go.. Gold” she stuttered and a dry smile appeared on her lips..

“Skeleton?, Oh no I saw you again, and now my night will be full of awful dreams” he said

” You said it hurts to see me cry, you said it with your mouth that my tears drive you insane, you told me you can’t bear seeing my tears, but now I’m crying everyday cos of you, Gold why don’t you just come back to me already” she said as her teeth clashed on each other

Then headache is doing it’s job, pounding on her head like something else

“What’s she talking about?” Goldy wondered loudly

” You promised to stay with me,you told me I own your heart but right now it’s not like that anymore…Gold I….

She stopped and coughed slightly

“I love you so much, I can’t do without you either, if this goes on I swear I’ll die” she said sincerely and managed to stand though her leg is shaking on the ground

Goldy just looked at her in confusion, all what she’s saying he said to her, it felt as if he really said those words and his brain sparked again, he held his head tight

“It hurts…my head” he winced, squatting slowly

Nina kept standing and felt like she’s loosing her stand

Just as Goldy was standing up, she lost consciousness and fell on him, they fell together on the green grass…
