THE MERMAID PRINCESS - EPISODE 14

(Aqua’s p.o.v)

“What are you doing in here?” The voice asked making us all turn around.

“Alex!” I gasped when we finally made eye contact.

“It’s you!” He began,”What did you say your name was?” He questioned with a dazzling smile on his face making me blush.

“It’s Aqua” I said returning the grin.

“Aqua! Such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl” he smiled taking in my appearance then his face suddenly turned into one of confusion,”Aren’t you supposed to be a human?” He asked.

I opened my mouth to reply but then Ariel beat me to it, “Nope! She’s a mermaid, always has been her whole life” she said never missing a beat.

“This is such great news because now Mr storm won’t be able to take you to the dungeon” he stated

“Actually can you take us to the dungeon there’s somebody we need to find” Melody butted in.

“Who might that be?” Alex said raising one eyebrow in question.

“You will find out when we get there” Melody continued and with that being said Alex nodded and guided us all towards the dungeons.

We all followed Alex as he lead us down a narrow hallway which lead towards the dungeons.

“Um…isn’t there a less scary path that we can take?” Ariel asked while she held onto me in fear. Classic Ariel, she might have a big mouth but she’s a real scaredy cat.

“There is if you wanna get caught” he remarked.

“I rather get caught than die” she responded making me roll my eyes “you’re not going to die Ariel so stop being such a drama queen”

She placed a hand to her chest and shot me a look and if looks could kill I’d be ten feet under by now.

I was about to say something until I heard Alex mention that we had arrived.

“Okay guys we have reached our destination” he stated,”Now would anyone care to tell me who we are supposed to be looking for” he questioned with raised eye brows.

“We are looking for queen Arianna” Waterlilly said making Alex frown in confusion,”Do you mean the previous queen? Why would you be looking for her”

“Because she’s my mother”
After hearing this, Alex eyes practically bulged out of their sockets,”Your mother!” He exclaimed and I nodded.

“Well I am honored to be at your service” he replied bowing his head in respect.

“Now that you know who we are looking for, can you show us where she is” Kylie asked.
“No problem! Now follow me”

He lead us toward the furthest cell in the dungeon where my mother was being held.

When we approached the cell I noticed my mother sitting on a chair with her eyes closed. Alex then grabbed a set of keys to unlock the cell and I swarm inside.

“Mom” I said making her open her eyes and look at me,”Melody!” She exclaimed happily pulling me into a hug.

“I’m so glad you found me Melody” she said after we pulled apart
“I couldn’t have done it without the help of these guys right here” i told her gesturing to my gang of friends.

“Well thank you all for helping my daughter find me-” my mother started to say until someone interrupted her.

“Don’t thank them just yet” some lady with a bunch of guards behind her said. She had colorful hair and a colourful tail. I don’t know if she looked in a mirror today.

“Who are you?” Ariel questioned but the lady just smirked in reply.

“Oh I’m your worst nightmare”
“Well I can see that, I mean have you looked in a mirror lately” Ariel sassed making the woman’s face turn a bright shade a red.

She suddenly held up her hand and shot a fire ball in Ariel’s direction but she ducked just in the nick of time.

“Leave these innocent children alone Celia, it’s me you want” my mother said glaring at the woman who’s name I had just found out.

“Now why would I do that, the parties just getting started”she smirked, “and I think I’ll destroy all of you,one by one starting with your precious daughter”
